Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
We are unaware of any meteorite with this kind of nonaerodynamic shape
and reddish color.

What is it?
This is probably a nodule of marcasite
or possibly pyrite
that is highly corroded. Marcasite forms in limestones. On exposure
to air, it decomposes and forms a brown-red iron oxide coating.
