Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
1) No fusion crust.
The rock is polished and shiny in places, which resembles a fusion
crust, but the color varies from place to place. A fusion crust is
the same color all over, and usually darker than this rock.
2) The rock has dimples that resemble regmaglypts,
but they are too deep. Regmagypts are larger and shallow.

What is it?
Interesting rock, but we can't tell what it is from the photo. It
looks like some hard rock like chert.
