A Photo Gallery of Meteorwrongs
Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
There's no
fusion crust
and the surface isn't smooth. Where the rough exterior is missing, the shiny inside looks like agate.
What is it?
It wouldn't surprise me if this were a
geode
. Cut it in two!
