Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
It's got a neat shape, but stony meteorites aren't shaped like this.
There are too many protuberances and holes, and no smooth exterior
anywhere.

What is it?
Can't tell from the photo; perhaps another piece of slag.
It was found in a backyard near Detroit.
