Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
I received this photo with no information other than an e-mail subject
line that read "possible luner rock." A month later I received a
chemical analysis. In the photo, it resembles a lunar breccia, but
the chemical analysis showed it to be of terrestrial origin.

What is it?
Probably a volcaniclastic rock. I might be able to make a better
guess if the sender had mentioned where he found it.
