Why this rock
is probably not a meteorite:
This is one of those pesky photos that accompanied a story about
how the "rock" was found next to a shattered glass table near
the finder's swimming pool. The finder said that the rock is magnetic
This might be a meteorite, but the shape is lumpier than I'd expect
for either a stony or iron meteorite.

What is it?
I urged the finder to get a chemical analysis. Stay tuned.
