Why this rock
is probably not a meteorite:
Again, it's not smooth on the outside. Also, its consists of long,
noodle-like things. Meteorites don't have any linear features like
this.

What is it?
It came from southern Georgia and was found on a road. It's magnetic.
I suspect it some kind of iron-oxide concretion,
mainly composed of magnetite.
