Why this rock
is probably not a meteorite:
There's no fusion crust and the
holes are too deep to be regmaglypts. A
stony meteorite would not have holes like this.

What is it?
Hard to say. The finder said that it was magnetic. If
it were mine, I'd cut it in two to see what's inside. If it's a meteorite,
then there would be shiny metal grains. I
suspect, however, that this is some sedimentary rock containing magnetite.
