Why this "rock"
is probably not a meteorite:
This was found on a ranch in Nevada. It sure looks like metal.
It has an unusual shape for an iron meteorite.

What is it?
Something man made. The finder had a chemical analysis done. There
was only 290 ppm Ni and 45 ppm Co, much too little for a meteorite.
